About this survey

We as the Infected Blood Compensation Authority (IBCA) are committed to providing the best service we can for those claiming compensation.

We’d like to ask for your help by taking part in research to improve the service as we open up to more people over time.

Who we're looking for

We’re looking for anyone who’s over 18 and plans to make a compensation claim, or has already started or finished a claim. We're also looking for those who have made or plan to make a claim on behalf of someone else.

How to sign up

You can sign up to be notified when you can take part in research by filling in this survey. We'll ask you some questions about you and your plans to claim. You can also give us information about any adjustments you need to help you take part in research.

The answers you give will help make sure you're asked to take part in research that is relevant to you. We will not share your answers with anyone else.

What happens after you sign up

Once you sign up, we'll send you research opportunities that are relevant to you. You can reply to any opportunity to tell us if you would like to take part. We may also send you information about the research we've been doing.

We will not always be able to include everyone who wants to take part in research and we do not offer financial incentives.

You can say no to any research opportunity and ask us to remove your details at any time by emailing research@ibca.org.uk.

Storing your personal information

We’ll securely store all the information you share with us. Your claim and any future claims you may make will not be affected by the information that you share with us.

We store your sign up information using Participant Kit. This software helps us to manage research information. You may receive an email showing as from Participant Kit before or after a research session. This is how we contact people who are taking part or who have taken part in research.

We'll delete your sign up data 18 months after you've last taken part in research, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If you have not taken part in research, we'll delete your sign up data 18 months after you fill in this form. There is more information about how your information is protected in our privacy notice: https://www.ibca.org.uk/privacy
